Job description
Developer Software/Java/J2SE/JNI/C/C++/JSP/AWT/JavaScript/Unix/Linux/Windows. My client is looking to recruit a Software Developer to join the team. Duties will consist mainly of client side Java with JNI native extensions (in C/C++) but will include Java Server side applications. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 4 years proven experience in programming with Java (including J2SE, Servlets, JSP, AWT and version 1.1 of the language) but will also have expertise in, or experience of, lower level languages such as C/C++. Specific experience of using JNI would be advantageous. Knowledge of networking from a low level will be a bonus as will experience of HTML and JavaScript. Applicants must have either expertise in, or exposure to, Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems, with knowledge of MacOSX being useful. Any knowledge of imaging systems or content management systems would also be considered valuable.
