Due to rapid expansion, the company is embarking upon an exciting phase of growth and development. We are now seeking a professional and enthusiastic Plant Account Manager to generate sales revenue to meet or exceed established sales goals in software products, services, training and subscriptions. You will develop and grow the business opportunities in the assigned account base through your own efforts and those of associated Application Engineers and selected distribution partners. Reporting to the Industry Sales Director, travel throughout the Gulf Region is required 40-60% of the time. Responsibilities include: Sales of all the company's products to end-users, MVAR’s and BI’s; Support, Coordination and monitoring resellers sales activities; Building and maintaining BEST relationship with users and partners; Supporting the marketing and branding of the company's solutions; Through the use of direct sales techniques including Large Account Management Planning and Strategic Selling meets with assigned end-users/customers, develops the relationships at various levels within a given account, sets up product demonstrations, and closes sales to meet the revenue goals; Act as primary contact with specified accounts by: a.) acting as liaison for all communications to and from the account; b.) determining the sales strategy and follow-up; and c.) negotiating and implementing approved contracts; Participate in sales events such as: trade shows, territory product demonstration seminars, customer specific technical demonstrations, etc.; Develop new and adopt approved sales strategies. Establishe sales implementation plans for assigned customer base; Prepare sales reports in SAP on various aspects of your sales activities in the territory assigned to include such things as: forecasts, comparative sales data, etc.; Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's products and services, as well as knowledge on the particular Industry workflows, business drivers, macro-economics and major players. Applications are invited from individulas who fulfil the following criteria: Graduate level education preferably in an Engineering discipline; Experience in the Process, Oil, Gas or manufacturing industries is essential; Proven sales experience in the IT/ Engineering software sector is desirable; Proficiency with company products portfolio; Fluency in English is essential. The role offers a pleasant working office environment in Dubai but it is envisaged that this incumbent could be home-based anywhere in the Emirates.
