Job description
My client is a major player in the MOD/Defence contracts arena and they currently have an immediate requirement for 2 Lead Technical Architects. Candidates should have: Experience of operational procedures and practices. Qualified to at least degree level or equivalent, in a relevant technical discipline, sufficient to achieve Chartered Engineer status; SC security clearance; Secure systems integration experience (applications and networks); Control/review of accreditation document sets (ADS); Working knowledge of government security accreditation processes; Knowledge and understanding of INFOSEC and COMSEC Standards (Joint Services Publications, etc) for security architectures; Experience of a broad range of software applications and networks; Successful experience in the designing and building of IT networks and systems, including software specification, interfacing and integration; Ability to grasp complex IT networking, security and software issues, to articulate these at a business level and document them clearly within bid and project documents; Ability to report clearly on events both verbally and in written form, including good technical specification, feasibility and report writing skills, applicable to a broad audience at all levels of seniority, both internally and externally; Able and willing to work flexible hours in locations throughout the UK; Ability to produce and deliver presentations professionally to internal and executive level customers for bid, project review, evaluation and training purposes; Desirable attributes would be: Chartered Engineer status; reparation/control of Interface Control Documents (ICD’s); Writing accreditation document sets (ADS); Microsoft MCSE or CISCO CCNA/CCDA certification or equivalent through experience; CESG Tempest Installation and Design Course; Recognised security membership or accreditation (CLAS / ITPC); Working knowledge of Risk Management techniques and their application; Understanding of ITIL framework and applied processes; A general understanding of project management systems and processes, including the software development lifecycle.
